Questions to ask…
    — Of us or any Childhood Education Facility you are considering.

Q:  Are you Licensed?
A: We are licensed-exempt. We do get inspected annually by the state, fire & safety and sanitation.

Q:  When do I need to make payments for your services?
A:  We use a system called ProCare and will automatically set you up for monthly tuition billing.

Q:  Is vacation time allowed?
A. Yes, two weeks a year for Full-Time children that have been with us at least 6 months..

Q:  Are meals included?
A:  Yes! Breakfast, AM snack, Lunch and PM snack. See our menu.

Q:  What is CMCCC’s sick policy?

Q:  How long has CMCCC been established?
A: Since 1979.

Q:  What time does CMCCC open/close?
A: We are here from 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM. 

Q:  What is the Staff:Child Ratio at CMCCC?
A:  1:4 Infant, 1:4 1 yr, 1:7 2 yrs., 1:10 3+ yrs.

Q:  How often does the center perform fire/tornado drills?
A:  Monthly.

Q:  How often are fire inspections performed?
A:  Once a year.

Q:  How is your facility cleaned?
A:  We have a janitor clean nightly.  Staff also has regular cleaning duties throughout the day.

Q:  Do you provide daily reports on my child?
A:  Yes, using our ProCare Application you will get a daily update.

Q:  What are some examples of things CMCCC incorporates into the daily curriculum?
A:  Math, writing, small group and large group activities, Cooking, Science, Music and Sensory Table activities.

Q:  Are there any extra services available that I can get my child involved in?
A:  Yes.  CMCCC has additional programs for soccer, baseball and Spanish.

Q:  Do you ever ask for Parent Volunteers?
A:  Yes, and participation is open to all parents and grandparents.

Q:  How often are Parent/Teacher conferences?
A:  Everytime a child transitions to a new room, we offer conferences.  Preschoolers have two conferences a year.

Q:  Do CMCCC’s Teachers have a four year degree in a child related field?
A:  Preschool teachers are degreed and all staff get at least 12 hours of training in childcare annually.

Q:  How high is the turnover on staff?
A:  Our average staff member has been with us over 6 years.

Q:  When will I be able to speak with one of my child’s teachers?
A:  Parents can speak to the teacher at drop off or pick up.  If the conversation is going to take more than a few minutes, a meeting time can be scheduled.  Parents can message teachers throughout the day using our ProCare app.

Q:  Do you require your staff to further their education?
A:  Yes, staff is required to have 12 clock hours each year of early childhood education course work.

Q:  Do you require your staff to receive training in C.P.R., First aid and A.E.D.?
A:  Yes, Full-time and part-time staff are certified in all areas, every other year

Q:  Is CMCCC a non-smoking facility?
A:  Yes.
